In order to fulfill this mission, we are looking for a Partner Sales Representative for the US market, who will sell our innovative cloud products through partners (mainly MSPs, ISVs and Cloud Resellers) and the channel organization. As the ideal candidate, you show experience in consultative selling and the ability to "think BIG" and execute on propositions ranging from transformational to tactical. You are a partner-focused individual showing a high level of empathy and the ability to understand partners' needs. You will need to be able to translate client 'needs' into solutions with a high level of responsiveness, follow-through, and execution of commitments. We are looking for someone with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to identify opportunities with the help of the channel organization.

Your area of activity includes the following tasks:

  • Strategic and continuous development of an US-wide partner landscape for the constant maximization of sales.
  • Identification, onboarding and development of new partners as well as care of existing partner relationships.
  • Review and continuous improvement of workflows and processes as well as the planning and creation of channel sales campaigns.
  • Identify and create new opportunities leading to incremental revenue for the IONOS Cloud IaaS product line in the US through channel partners.
  • Work with Partners to build and manage a sustained pipeline of qualified opportunities, ensuring that Ionos sales systems are complete and accurate at all times.
  • Engage with Pre-Sales to develop and distribute customer solutions developed in cooperation with partners and based on IONOS Cloud technology.
  • Identify and create partner business cases to show tangible benefits and to efficiently drive opportunities to win.
  • Conduct sales presentations for customers and related partners.
  • Actively develop personal knowledge of industry/market sector, partners' business challenges, and competitive and economic landscape.

In addition to several years of relevant professional experience with demonstrable success in B2B sales, as well as experience in the IT sector, you have the following qualifications:

  • Good communication skills, very good negotiating skills, and assertiveness.
  • Proven channel sales experience in an appropriate cloud product line
  • Demonstrable results-oriented attitude that overcomes barriers
  • Ability to demonstrate strong x-lob and matrix working across sales lead teams
  • Very good understanding of numbers, analytical thinking, and cost awareness.
  • A high level of the initiative as well as an independent and goal-oriented way of working.
  • Ideally, good, personal networking in the IT channel and corresponding partner network as well as know-how of cloud and IT infrastructures.

Job Summary: The Inbound Telesales Representative builds the 1&1 IONOS customer base by converting interested parties into new customers via inbound calls, chats and email. The Inbound Telesales Representative is a self-driven sales person who is passionate about converting potential customers and selling them on 1&1 IONOS's great products. Responsibilities of the position include sales of products and services to potential customers, up-selling more valuable products and services to existing customers, occasional outbound calls to follow up on leads, staying current on all product and service specifications and pricing. This position also performs other duties as directed by management when needed (responding to account & billing queries, customer retention, and basic technical support.)

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assisting potential customers with questions and ordering the proper product or service based on their needs with a strategic and ethical sales approach
  • Recommending value added features and services to grow customers' online success
  • Resolving customer issues via phone, email and chat
  • Assisting customers with cancellation requests and making retention efforts to maintain their partnership
  • Demonstrating account management/billing proficiency, minor technical skills and effective soft skills in resolving customer issues, growing account value and retaining customers.
  • Effectively managing self to meet departmental goals and resolve incoming workload efficiently

Qualifications:

  • Great sales and customer service attitude
  • Desire and motivation to excel in sales field
  • Ability to speak & write clearly in English
  • Ability to field potential customer calls, chats & emails and convert to new 1&1 IONOS accounts
  • Ability to field customer calls, chats & emails regarding accounts & service issues as needed

  • Possesses basic computer and IONOS skills (training will be provided on all 1&1 IONOS products and tools)

Minimum Requirement:

  • Prior sales experience in any form.

Preferred (but not required) Qualifications:

  • Experience in direct customer sales in an inbound call center environment
  • Knowledge of web hosting market and products (in general)
  • Motivated by commission structures (on top of hourly base rate)
  • Bi-Lingual speaking & writing ability

When it comes to IP addresses, we differentiate between IPv4 and IPv6 addresses. An IPv4 address consists of four blocks of numbers separated by dots. In each block, any number between 0 and 225 can be used, which results in roughly 4.3 billion possible addresses. As the internet has grown so rapidly over the last few years, and will continue to grow in the future, this number is quickly becoming insufficient. This is why the IPv6 format is currently being introduced as the new norm, which can generate roughly sextillion new addresses. The structure of IPv6 addresses is less clear, as it uses both numbers and letters in eight separate blocks.

Your IP address is never just a ransom sequence of numbers or letters. Specific IP areas are allocated to certain providers or to big companies. There is no area or country code, like the ones found in telephone numbers when it comes to IP addresses though. Rather the IP address can be found through the so called dial-up node. It also shows which browser and operating system is being used. The internet provider can receive information on the user's online behavior during a web browsing session through the IP address. The regulations on what happens to this data after the browsing session is finished also varies depending on the country.

For security reasons, a router will block attempts to externally access a local network. However, in certain cases allowing external access can be beneficial. For example, this allows for you to provide others access to your network via Secure File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and thereby set up a server to transfer your files. Everyone who would like to provide their friends with a small gaming server in their home network needs the IP address to do so.

To subvert the router's firewall, ports are enabled to allow external access. To dial in to the game server, gamers need the IP address of the server. The exact configuration of the firewall depends on both the operating system and on the game server or SFTP software.
