We value health—the health of our friends and families, our communities, and our environment. One of the ways we spread wellness is by supporting nonprofit organizations that similarly value health.

We’re currently supporting Paws and Stripes, a nonprofit that pairs rescued shelter dogs with wounded military veterans. From October through December 2016, a purchase of any featured product will help us donate $30,000 in products and program funds for veterans and their service dogs.

Another way we care is by being environmentally responsible. Our company headquarters in Watsonville, California, is LEED® Gold certified—built from the ground up for energy efficiency and low environmental impact. At our manufacturing facility in Tromsø, Norway, we use fish oil byproducts (unused fats) as a clean source of fuel to meet 100% of our energy needs. We supply neighboring businesses with our surplus fuel, and clean all of our wastewater before returning it to the ocean.

To prevent overfishing, we source our fish in compliance with the Norwegian fisheries management system, which has been a model of sustainability for over 30 years. Our suppliers use responsible fishing gear to protect against bycatch of unintended species, and line and net fishing methods to prevent seafloor and ecosystem damage. All of our fish is sourced from waters that are certified sustainable by Friend of the Sea, an internationally recognized, nonprofit organization whose mission is to conserve the global marine habitat.
