The founders of PlantFusion grew up in the health food business. Each worked in their family owned health food stores more than 3,000 miles apart. Both were obsessed with nutrition and driven by a passion to help people live healthier lives. One, a serious athlete, created a popular chain of health food stores. The other, an outdoor enthusiast and foodie, launched a successful nutritional innovation company.

The two crossed paths and shared their frustration over the many high priced products they saw using inferior “filler” ingredients, and offering nutritionally incomplete “manufactured” produce that tasted terrible. A vision for a more complete, nourishing product inspired the creation of PlantFusion.

Since 1975, PlantFusion has been obsessed with seeking the highest quality, nutrient dense plant-based ingredients and blending them with a foodie sensibility into recipes that are a “fusion” of delicious flavors, aromas, and perfect textures.

The Community
We spread this idea of complete nourishment to our community by participating in Hands of Hope, providing 300 meal packages to local families for Thanksgiving. We also work with the Business Council for Peace (Bpeace.org). Bpeace is a non-profit network of business professionals who volunteer time and resources to female owned businesses in economically challenged countries. Lastly, through Vitamin Angels, PlantFusion and its parent company (Reliance Private Label Supplements) regularly sends bulk vitamins and supplements to children and mothers at risk of malnutrition.

Our Team
Complete nourishment starts at home! That’s why we hold regular education seminars for our team members on nourishing lifestyle choices. We also have events, like PlantFusion Spirit Day, where we sample our smoothies and baked goods infused with PlantFusion. And all of our employees get free supplements for themselves and their families each month!

The Industry
We’ve dedicated our lives to natural products, and so PlantFusion is actively involved in supporting the industry by being a member of the Natural Products Association (NPA). The Association’s mission is to advocate for the rights of consumers to have access to products that will maintain and improve their health, and for the rights of retailers and suppliers to sell these products.
