All of Orgain’s products are created by our Founder and CEO, Andrew Abraham, MD. Dr. Abraham is not only a trained medical doctor, but a cancer survivor who knows first-hand the role that exceptional nutrition plays in supporting a healthy life.

Following his cancer diagnosis, Dr. Abraham was desperate to find nutritious drinks he could use to maintain his strength during grueling treatments that left him thin and frail. However, he found that most “nutritional” drinks were anything but. They often had long lists of artificial ingredients and lots of added sugar. Dr. Abraham made it his mission to formulate nutrition drinks that would have a positive impact on his health, using organic, whole-food ingredients. After exhaustive work and research, and a lot of time in his kitchen he finally developed the perfect formulation that would later become Orgain Nutritional Shakes, the first Orgain product.

Today, we’ve expanded the Orgain line to include plant-based protein powder, grass-fed whey protein, nutritional shakes for kids and vegans, and even plant-based protein bars. And we still have one goal: to make the best and most delicious nutritional products that help each and every one of you gain health, gain energy and gain the most out of life.
