Requires Refrigeration
Colostrum itself doesn’t need refrigeration. That being said, in order to help with both digestion and absorption, the company includes Acidophilus, which is a healthy type of bacteria occurring naturally in the human gastrointestinal tract. As it’s a live organism, usually refrigeration is needed or the Acidophilus organisms would die because of heat. However, if left unrefrigerated, NOW Foods Colostrum would still be effective.
