Life Extension Dopa-Mind is a standardized wild green oat extract for aging individuals who wish to maintain more youthful cognitive health and performance. The suggested dose is one tablet of Dopa-Mind daily for the first month. If desired results do not manifest, increase the dose to two tablets daily. With age, brain’s levels of dopamine, which regulates mood and cognition, begin to diminish, leading to a corresponding decline in mental performance. This dopamine depletion is largely caused by rising levels of an enzyme called monoamine oxidase-B (MAO-B).

In a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial in aging volunteers, researchers demonstrated that 1,600 mg of the same wild green oat extract found in Dopa-Mind produced a 74% improvement on a standard test of mental acuity. In soon-to-be published research, 800 mg of the same extract supported mental processing time and speed. In other research, this extract exhibited support for cerebral vasodilator function, as well as endothelial function, both of which play roles in brain health.
Suggested Use
Take one (1) tablet once or twice daily, with or without food, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner. Store tightly closed in a cool, dry place.

Great supplement
Love that it’s a lozenge. Good taste so no arguments from the teenager taking them😊

Very rough
Well, health wise I’m assuming they do what they are supposed to do but calling them a ‘lozenge’ is a stretch. After the first one (directions say to let it dissolve, do not chew) my mouth got sore. Those things are ROUGH!!! I ended up dissolving them in boiling water (not an easy task) just to get them useable.
Needless to say, after a week or so I quit using. They need to be smoother and actually have the ability to dissolve.
