Glucosamine is a naturally occurring structural compound that is normally found in healthy cartilage, bone, and synovial fluid. Glucosamine is an amino sugar that is a building block for larger molecules known as glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). GAGs are essential components of connective tissues that function to lubricate joints, absorb shock, and allow these tissues to resist pressure.

Great supplement
Love that it’s a lozenge. Good taste so no arguments from the teenager taking them😊

Very rough
Well, health wise I’m assuming they do what they are supposed to do but calling them a ‘lozenge’ is a stretch. After the first one (directions say to let it dissolve, do not chew) my mouth got sore. Those things are ROUGH!!! I ended up dissolving them in boiling water (not an easy task) just to get them useable.
Needless to say, after a week or so I quit using. They need to be smoother and actually have the ability to dissolve.
