Now Foods Magnesium Ascorbate is a buffered (non-acidic) form of Vitamin C that will not contribute to gastric irritation in acid-sensitive persons. Now Foods Magnesium Ascorbate is synthesized from a combination of Ascorbic Acid and Magnesium to form Magnesium Ascorbate. Now Foods Magnesium Ascorbate is one of a variety of powdered vitamins and minerals including Pure Ascorbic Acid, Calcium Ascorbate, Sodium Ascorbate and Vitamin C Complex Powder.
Vitamin C is a water soluble nutrient well known for its vital role in the immune system. Vitamin C is also necessary for the production of collagen (a structural protein in connective tissue) and is therefore important for skin, bone, and joint health. Vitamin C is needed for amino acid metabolism, neurotransmitter synthesis, and the utilization of many nutrients, such as folic acid and iron. It is also a highly effective antioxidant that can help maintain healthy tissues by neutralizing free radicals generated during normal metabolism and exposure to environmental stressors.

Suggested Use
Mix 1/4 level teaspoon of powder into at least 6 oz. of cold water or clear liquid. Take once daily with a meal. Pure Magnesium Ascorbate Powder can increase the temperature of liquids upon contact; therefore, the recommended serving MUST be mixed into at least 6 oz. of cold liquid to neutralize this reaction prior to ingestion. Store in a cool, dry place after opening.

Great supplement
Love that it’s a lozenge. Good taste so no arguments from the teenager taking them😊

Very rough
Well, health wise I’m assuming they do what they are supposed to do but calling them a ‘lozenge’ is a stretch. After the first one (directions say to let it dissolve, do not chew) my mouth got sore. Those things are ROUGH!!! I ended up dissolving them in boiling water (not an easy task) just to get them useable.
Needless to say, after a week or so I quit using. They need to be smoother and actually have the ability to dissolve.
