Vitamin B-12 is necessary for the production of energy from fats and proteins and is well known for its critical role in DNA synthesis, as well as in homocysteine metabolism. Methylcobalamin is the co-enzyme form of vitamin B-12 that has been found to be especially critical in the maintenance of a healthy nervous system. Dietary sources are almost exclusively of animal origin (meat and dairy) and supplementation with B-12 may be especially important for strict vegetarians. NOW Methyl B-12 is vegetarian/vegan (non-animal derived). Natural color variation may occur in this product.

Great supplement
Love that it’s a lozenge. Good taste so no arguments from the teenager taking them😊

Very rough
Well, health wise I’m assuming they do what they are supposed to do but calling them a ‘lozenge’ is a stretch. After the first one (directions say to let it dissolve, do not chew) my mouth got sore. Those things are ROUGH!!! I ended up dissolving them in boiling water (not an easy task) just to get them useable.
Needless to say, after a week or so I quit using. They need to be smoother and actually have the ability to dissolve.
