Protocol For Life Balance NAC is a stable form of the non-essential amino acid L-Cysteine. Cysteine is a sulfur-containing amino acid that acts as a stabilizer for the formation of protein structures. Although NAC possesses its own free radical scavenging activity, its primary function in the body is to supply Cysteine necessary for glutathione synthesis and replenishment. This unique formula also contains Molybdenum, an essential trace element that functions as a cofactor in many biochemical reactions, and Selenium, another trace mineral that supports glutathione production.

Great supplement
Love that it’s a lozenge. Good taste so no arguments from the teenager taking them😊

Very rough
Well, health wise I’m assuming they do what they are supposed to do but calling them a ‘lozenge’ is a stretch. After the first one (directions say to let it dissolve, do not chew) my mouth got sore. Those things are ROUGH!!! I ended up dissolving them in boiling water (not an easy task) just to get them useable.
Needless to say, after a week or so I quit using. They need to be smoother and actually have the ability to dissolve.
