Not All Fish Oils are the Same
The purest forms of EPA and DHA are found in certain fish and plants, with the purest forms coming from fish that feed on algae. NOW Omega-3 fish oils are sourced from Peru and primarily derived from sardines, anchovies and mackerel. NOW ingredients are molecularly distilled, which means that they are tested to be free of potentially harmful levels of contaminants such as PCBs, dioxins, mercury and other heavy metals – because many fish are exposed to toxic chemicals such as these. Fish oils that are not molecularly distilled could otherwise expose you to these contaminants. NOW adheres to strict quality controls to make sure that does not happen.
Enteric-Coated
NOW Omega-3 Molecularly Distilled Fish Oil softgels are enteric-coated, which allows them to withstand your stomach acids and move on to your small intestine, where it meets a non-acidic, neutral environment. This coating also prevents fishy burping and aftertaste because it does not dissolve in or get damaged in your stomach. Once it reaches your small intestine, the coating dissolves quickly, and NOW Omega-3 Fish Oil can get busy doing its job!

Great supplement
Love that it’s a lozenge. Good taste so no arguments from the teenager taking them😊

Very rough
Well, health wise I’m assuming they do what they are supposed to do but calling them a ‘lozenge’ is a stretch. After the first one (directions say to let it dissolve, do not chew) my mouth got sore. Those things are ROUGH!!! I ended up dissolving them in boiling water (not an easy task) just to get them useable.
Needless to say, after a week or so I quit using. They need to be smoother and actually have the ability to dissolve.
