    Description and Detailed Information

    • Alfalfa
Alfalfa is an interesting plant in that, for its size, it has extensive root structures that spread out and go deep to pull up minerals from multiple levels in the soil, many of which may not be available on the surface. This makes alfalfa extremely nutritious, rich in essential vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients.
    • Barley Grass
Rich in B vitamins, chlorophyll, carotenoids, iron, calcium, protein, and vitamin C, barley grass is a veritable superfood often overlooked for the sweeter wheatgrass. Wheatgrass and barley grass are very similar to one another nutritionally. Together, they balance each other out for the best mix of nutrients.
    • Moringa
Moringa is one of the newest superfoods to be discovered and is being used through the world to combat hunger and malnutrition. Called the "tree of life" by many, moringa is rich in vitamins, minerals, protein, essential fatty acids, and a host of beneficial phytonutrients.
    • Oat Grass
Another cereal grass, like wheat and barley grass, that provides concentrated vitamins, minerals, and essential nutrients packed into the tender, young leaves. Oat grass is rich in over 70 revitalizing minerals.
    • Stevia
Stevia is an all-natural sweetener that comes from the leaf of the stevia herb. The powdered leaf is hundreds of times sweeter than sugar, meaning you can use a small amount without getting any of the calories, carbs, or downsides that come with sugar.
    • Wheatgrass
Wheatgrass is considered by many to be the healthiest substance on the planet. It certainly packs in an amazing amount of vitamins, minerals, beneficial enzymes, antioxidants, and phytonutrients into each tiny blade.
    • Spinach
Spinach is one of the healthiest leafy greens available, rich in iron, magnesium, calcium, fiber, vitamin K, carotenoids, manganese, B vitamins, vitamin C, vitamin E, potassium, zinc, and copper.
    • Ginger Root
Ginger root has always been used to ease nausea, sea sickness, diarrhea, and morning sickness, but it is gaining attention as a potent anti-inflammatory and pain reducer, too. Apart from the ability to ease and sooth digestive problems and lessen pain, ginger root is being studied for its effects against cancer, fungi, bacteria, and diabetes. It is also rich in amino acids, calcium, magnesium, iron, and essential fatty acids.
    • Probiotics
The probiotics in their greens are cultured within the greens themselves, not added after the fact. This makes all the nutrients more bioavailable while building up and feeding the beneficial, natural flora and fauna of the digestive system.

    SunWarrior Frequently Asked Questions

Are Sun Warrior products certified organic?
Sun Warrior's Warrior Blend, Classic Plus, Ormus Supergreens, and Activated Barley are all certified organic. Sun Warrior are currently in the certification process for all the products the USDA will let them certify. Plant-based minerals and purified water unfortunately do not apply, so their liquid minerals may never get the seal, but Sunwarrior is dedicated to sourcing only the best organic ingredients and certifying everything possible.

Do Sun Warrior products need to be refrigerated?
None of their products, except Vitamin Mineral Rush (that's VMR for those in the know), need to be refrigerated even after opening, but keep those packages in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.

Where do Sun Warrior ingredients come from?
Sunwarrior seeks out the best ingredients throughout the world, from the desert farms of Arizona and Utah to the rolling fields of the Midwest to the foothills of the Himalayas. Due to climate, growing seasons, and sustainability they cannot source from only one country or region. Sun Warrior scrutinize and monitor the farms and facilities they deal with for the highest levels of quality and control. Every batch that enters the United States is tested and approved by the FDA. Sun Warrior also rely on their own quality control standards to ensure their ingredients are of the utmost quality.

What is xanthan, oligodextrin, and pectin, and what are they derived from?
Xanthan is a natural stabilizer and thickener. Oligodextrin is a complex carbohydrate that also acts as a stabilizer and thickener. It also helps restore lost glycogen after workouts. The xanthan and oligodextrin used in Sunwarrior's Classic Protein is derived as a result of the fermentation of brown rice. Pectin is a soluble dietary fiber found in apples and other fruits. It has a number of health benefits and is also a vegan alternative to gelatin.

What is the difference between Classic Protein, Warrior Blend, and Classic Plus?
All these products supply plant-based protein, taste great, and tend to be more gentle on the digestive system than whey or soy. Classic Protein is made from fermented brown rice. This simple formula is suggested for those with food allergies and their more granola customers.

Warrior Blend is a synergistic combination of pea, goji berry, and hemp proteins with the bonus of medium chain triglycerides from coconut. Warrior Blend has a slightly better amino acid profile and includes the anti-inflammatory power of coconut to speed recovery.

Classic Plus relies on brown rice, pea, quinoa, chia, and amaranth for ancient grain goodness without the gluten or carbs. It has a similar amino acid profile to Warrior Blend, but a slightly different texture and flavor. All are highly effective sources of protein, so it really comes down to personal preferences. Try their Protein Power Pack to sample them all before making a decision!

Can I take more than the suggested size of Sun Warrior Proteins?
Yes, but they recommend you do not go over your body's daily recommended protein. Your body generally requires 10–15% of your diet consist of protein.

Can I give Sun Warrior products to my child?
It is always important to discuss diet changes and supplementation with your health care professional, especially when it comes to your children. Children under the age of two years should not be given their products. They may be safe to use in moderation for children older than two.

    What does Ormus mean?
Ormus refers to special minerals found in minute amounts in certain soils around the world.

Do Ormus Supergreens supply all the vegetables I need?
No, they supplement your consumption of vegetables, but they do not replace all the crunchy goodness of the vegetables that should be in your diet.

What is the difference between Liquid Light, Immune Shield, and Vitamin Mineral Rush?
Liquid Light is a plant-based fulvic acid mineral complex created by nature and cold process extracted into a liquid solution.

Immune Shield is a natural fulvic acid mineral complex fortified with silver ions. The silver ions are complexed inside the fulvic acid molecule for maximum protection and performance.

Vitamin Mineral Rush is a combination of minerals, fulvic acid, and plant-based vitamins. This is a great multivitamin for those who do not like pills or capsules, and it tastes like sweet tea.

Is there caffeine in Sun Warrior products?
None of their products contain caffeine. The tea leaf extract they use in Warrior Blend is herbal only.

What is the equivalent of the scoops in tablespoons?
Each product varies slightly. Warrior Blend is about 4 tablespoons, and Classic Protein is about 3 tablespoons per scoop. Activated Barley is not quite 2 tablespoons.

Can product be used after expiration date?
Supplements begin to lose potency after the expiration date. They are usually safe to consume for some time after the expiration date, but use caution and know you are not getting the full potency. If any product begins to smell off or show any signs of spoilage, they should be discarded immediately, regardless of the expiration date. Very rough
Well, health wise I’m assuming they do what they are supposed to do but calling them a ‘lozenge’ is a stretch. After the first one (directions say to let it dissolve, do not chew) my mouth got sore. Those things are ROUGH!!! I ended up dissolving them in boiling water (not an easy task) just to get them useable.
Needless to say, after a week or so I quit using. They need to be smoother and actually have the ability to dissolve.
