Jarrow Formulas Ultra Jarro-Dophilus is a high potency probiotic supplement designed to restore, protect and maintain a balanced intestinal flora. A maximum survival of viable cells through the stomach and the intestinal tract is made possible by a unique delivery system consisting of a vegetarian acid resistant capsule, and the integration of the probiotic strains with a gel-forming matrix. The gel-forming matrix helps provide protection to probiotic bacteria against the negative effects of stomach and/or duodenal fluids. Each capsule contains a minimum of 50 billion viable cells when kept refrigerated and within Best Used Before Date.

Great supplement
Love that it’s a lozenge. Good taste so no arguments from the teenager taking them😊

Very rough
Well, health wise I’m assuming they do what they are supposed to do but calling them a ‘lozenge’ is a stretch. After the first one (directions say to let it dissolve, do not chew) my mouth got sore. Those things are ROUGH!!! I ended up dissolving them in boiling water (not an easy task) just to get them useable.
Needless to say, after a week or so I quit using. They need to be smoother and actually have the ability to dissolve.
