Natures Plus Vitamin B-2 Sustained Release is fortified with rice bran, each tablet supplies a precise daily measure of Vitamin B-2 (as riboflavin). As do all of the B vitamins, Natures Plus Vitamin B-2 has a broad range of physiological roles and benefits, but is best known for oxidizing amino acids, fatty acids and glucose for energy production. In a special base which provides for the gradual release of ingredients over a prolonged period of time.

Vitamin B2
Vitamin B2 is a water-soluble vitamin needed to process amino acids andfats, activate vitamin B6 and folic acid, and help convert carbohydrates into the fuel the body runs on—adenosine triphosphate (ATP). Under some conditions, vitamin B2 can act as an antioxidant.
Where is it found?
Dairy products, eggs, and meat contain significant amounts of vitamin B2. Leafy green vegetables, whole grains, and enriched grains contain some vitamin B2.

Great supplement
Love that it’s a lozenge. Good taste so no arguments from the teenager taking them😊

Very rough
Well, health wise I’m assuming they do what they are supposed to do but calling them a ‘lozenge’ is a stretch. After the first one (directions say to let it dissolve, do not chew) my mouth got sore. Those things are ROUGH!!! I ended up dissolving them in boiling water (not an easy task) just to get them useable.
Needless to say, after a week or so I quit using. They need to be smoother and actually have the ability to dissolve.
