Artisana began back in 2002, helping to pioneer the explosive growth of raw, organic, healthy food that was just in its opening stages at the time. A small team of people with a big inspiration started the company in the San Francisco Bay area with the idea of providing people with the delicious raw food they wanted but couldn’t get. Working out of their homes and a rented kitchen, they turned organic almonds and other nuts into savory butters they sold at fairs and farmer’s markets. The quality of their raw foods rocketed them to success, and today they offer the same wholesome food across America.

Just as in their founding days, Artisana still obtains their ingredients from small farmers who produce nutritious, chemical-free organic nuts and seeds.
