A proudly Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free company, Beauty Without Cruelty makes a full line of healthy cosmetics, aromatherapy hair care, and aromatherapy skincare. Full of vitamins, nutrients, and natural botanical enzymes and compounds, these products are made to renew and refresh, not just conceal. Essential oils provide both healthful effects for the skin or hair, plus beautiful fragrances without resorting to irritating artificial aromas. To make sure all preferences are provided for, BWC also makes a fragrance-free line for people who don’t want any scents.

Vegan Certified Cosmetics & Shampoos for Plant-Based Refreshment

A plant-based company with Vegan Society Certification, Beauty Without Cruelty makes most of its products gluten-free. The handful that do contain wheat protein, including a few shampoos and moisturizers, are clearly labeled. Whether it’s cream concealers, eye pencils, lipsticks, mascara, lip gloss, shampoos, or moisturizers, their personal care products feature wholesome botanical and mineral ingredients. They make products suitable for all different complexions, plus hair care for every texture of hair.

Beauty Without Cruelty Led the Way in Cruelty-Free Personal Care

Beauty Without Cruelty was founded long ago, back in 1963 when animal testing for cosmetics was the accepted norm everywhere. Vegetarian and cosmetics expert Kathleen Long teamed up with Noel Gabriel to launch a line of cruelty-free cosmetics in England. In 1969, Lady Dowding prevented the company from failing and appointed the animal rights enthusiast and skilled businessman Joseph Piccioni to directorship in 1978. The company flourished under Joseph and in 1989 stormed the metaphorical American beaches with their vegetarian, cruelty-free, high quality cosmetics.
