DERMA E didn’t start out in the beauty aisle or the boardroom. Instead, we began in a small health food store in Southern California. Our first product was a jar of Vitamin E 12,000 I.U. Moisturizing Crème. People were amazed at the results it had on their skin and word caught on.

Over the years we’ve introduced many extraordinary products, each one rooted in our belief that skin health can be visibly improved through the right combination of potent vitamins, wholesome nutrients and exceptional ingredients.

We use nano-particle-free, chemical-free Non-Nano Mineral Zinc Oxide, tested and proven to be reef safe to help protect these precious ecosystems for future generations.

The importance of vitamins is very near and dear to our hearts. Vitamins are a key component in our skin care due to the vast amount of essential health benefits they provide. Not only does our skin need a balanced, nutritional diet full of essential vitamins to be healthy and vital, but our bodies do as well. We are a proud supporter of Vitamin Angels, a non-profit organization that distributes lifesaving and life changing vitamins and minerals to at-risk children and mothers in need all over the world.

We proudly team up with Vitamin Angels in their pursuit to provide children worldwide with vitamins and nutritional support throughout their entire critical window of development. Together we know that all children have dreams and all children deserve the chance to succeed.

Environmental Commitment

We believe we should do our part to make a positive difference in the sustainability of our world. We make it a point to think first and foremost of our positive and negative contributions to the environment when making decisions about our packaging, manufacturing and the ingredients we use.

2016 marks the ninth year DERMA E has been manufacturing with wind power, reducing our environmental footprint by offsetting 100% of conventional electricity use with wind energy certificates. This renewable energy purchase supports DERMA E in our continuing effort to completely offset carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

We purchase Renewable Energy Certificates from Sterling Planet Inc. These certificates help Sterling Planet build a market for renewable electricity, increase energy diversity and security, reduce dependence on foreign energy sources, support domestic economies and create US jobs.

We are passionate about sustainable lifestyles. With the exception of our 100% biodegradable facial wipes and foil pack samples, all of our packaging components are recyclable. No unnecessary foil, no shiny silver caps, no fancy frills or added decoration that just build up landfills and take decades to decompose. We use only safe and renewable resources to promote a healthier ecological future.

Today, nearly 67% of Australia’s coral reefs have died (Christian Science Monitor, Nov 2016). There are a growing number concerns surrounding chemical sunscreens washing off into the ocean, potentially causing harm to our coral reef ecosystems. We use Non-Nano Mineral Zinc Oxide, tested and proven to be a superior natural sunscreen ingredient and is reef safe, helping to protect your skin andsave these precious ecosystems for future generations. 

Beneficial and healthy ingredients are a direct result from nutritious, thriving soil. Our ingredients are non-GMO to help support the sustainability of healthy crop soil around the world. When or if we use fragrances to our products, we use natural fragrances that are not contaminating to earth’s waters and do not contribute to air pollution.
