Snacks from Foods Alive Are Not Just Empty Calories

Foods Alive knows that it’s hard to get through a long day without a bit of a nosh from time to time. This is precisely why they make snacks that add some nutritional benefits as well as tasting good. Flax Crackers Mexican Harvest is a peppy, spicy, organic way to snack. Made from golden flax, tomato, onion, garlic, and spices, these crackers are seasoned with Himalayan Pink Salt and provide a surprising amount of nutrition. One servicing of Flax Crackers Mexican Harvest is not only packed with vitamins and minerals, but also provides almost 30% of the daily requirement of fiber and 8 gm of protein. And, to top it all off, they just taste delicious.

Foods Alive Is a Family-Owned Business

It was a raw food buffet that Michael and Ellen Moor, along with their son Matt and his wife Tammy, that really planted the seed for Foods Alive in 2002. The whole family was so impressed by some flax crackers they sampled there that Michael asked Ellen to try to replicate them. Ellen may well have gone one step better as she worked out recipes for flax crackers in a variety of different flavors. While the family all enjoyed eating these scrumptious crackers, they finally decided to bring them to a wider audience. In addition to their line of ready-to-eat products including dressings, Foods Alive also makes oils and powders to use in cooking and recipes.
