A healthier body and a healthier world are the goals Loma Linda is looking to help achieve with its sustainable plant-based protein. Good for the planet, these foods are designed to provide a delicious alternative that’s packed with nutrients while using zero animal products. The company makes complete, ready-to-eat meals, microwaveable for convenience. They also create baking mixes for brownies, cookies, and pancakes. The range even includes seafood alternatives that taste like real tuna but are 100% plant-based.

Saving Your Health & The Planet with Delicious Loma Linda Recipes

A whole host of advantages for an eco-friendly future and plenty of health benefits are built into every Loma Linda plant-based food product. Seafood alternatives are meant to help take pressure off endangered fisheries, where whole species might otherwise go extinct. Growing plants uses far less water and other resources than animals. And there are plenty of wellness increases to go around – including better blood sugar levels, the possibility of a lower mortality rate, and maybe a longer lifespan, too.

The First Plant-Based Meat Alternatives were Created by Loma Linda

Loma Linda, provider of healthy plant-based protein for a refreshingly different meal or an entire, ongoing lifestyle, is a brand of Atlantic Natural Foods. Loma Linda has a remarkable history and heritage. Its founding back in 1905 as The Sanitarium Food Company makes it nearly 115 years old, and was started by the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. Its current name, first adopted in 1933, comes from the town of Loma Linda, California where it got its start. Already in 1933 it was the first company in the USA to offer wheat and soy based meat alternatives, a plant-based mission it has continued through the era of many different owners, down to the modern day.
