Triple Leaf Tea Uses Ancient Chinese Herbal Knowledge

For almost 4,000 years the Chinese have been using herbs and plants to provide healing and support. Triple Leaf Tea is thankful for the wealth of herbal knowledge that the Chinese have provided and use some of this ancient wisdom in formulating their medicinal teas. Mother Nature has planted the earth with healing plants and herbs to help mankind, and Chinese herbal medicine has used these herbs gratefully to help improve people’s lives. Triple Leaf Tea also uses these gifts of nature to provide support for conditions such as high blood pressure, constipation, colds and flu, and anxiety.

What Is the Difference Between the Types of Teas?

While all tea comes from just a single tea species, Camellia sinensis, tea actually is available in several different forms from Triple Leaf Tea. Most people are probably familiar with black tea, and this tea results from the oxidation of the tea leaves, which turns them black and gives the tea a strong flavor. Green tea is made from the green tea leaves that are dried before they have a chance to oxidize, green tea has less caffeine than black tea. White tea is made from the tea buds and new leaves. This tea is air-dried then dried completely with heat, and has a very mild, soothing flavor. Oolong tea is a tea midway between green and black tea and has been allowed to partially oxidize. Oolong tea is mellow and smooth.
