Weleda is a company with a long heritage that stretches all the way back to 1921, almost a century ago. Drs. Ita Wegman and Rudolf Steiner founded an early company dedicated to natural personal care in Switzerland. Dr. Steiner’s philosophy of seeking the natural and wholesome as ingredients carries on to this day. The first Weleda plant ingredients came from a biodynamic garden designed by Dr. Steiner.
