What is Carnipure?
Carnipure is the specially formulated l-carnitine amino acid product from the Swiss company Lonza. It is a higher quality l-carnitine than most other brands on the market. The Lonza company extracts l-carnitine through chemical synthesis and not from meat sources which means that the product is suitable for vegetarians as well – a segment of the population that can oftentimes have an l-carnitine deficiency. The human body creates some l-carnitine itself, if certain enzymes and cofactors are available such as Vitamin C, B3, B6, iron and the essential amino acids lysine and methionine. Great supplement
Love that it’s a lozenge. Good taste so no arguments from the teenager taking them😊

Very rough
Well, health wise I’m assuming they do what they are supposed to do but calling them a ‘lozenge’ is a stretch. After the first one (directions say to let it dissolve, do not chew) my mouth got sore. Those things are ROUGH!!! I ended up dissolving them in boiling water (not an easy task) just to get them useable.
Needless to say, after a week or so I quit using. They need to be smoother and actually have the ability to dissolve.
