Vitamin C never occurs as an isolate in nature. It is always a part of an entire vitamin C complex.There are many "Vitamin C with rose hips and acerola" type products out there. Every one of those products we have seen has a very small amount of rose hips and/or acerola (which are plants naturally high in absorbable vitamin C) with a whopping amount of synthetic and/or isolated Vitamin C. Vitamin C mixed with whole foods is not the same as vitamin C contained in whole foods. The superfoods added "on the side" are good for you, but not the main ingredients or the supplement as a whole.
