    Miracle Noodle got its Start with a Savory Meal at a Buddhist Restaurant in Japan

    Made just like the first konjac noodles created by Buddhist monks 1,400 years ago, Miracle Noodle pasta is made from konjac fiber and mineral lime water. The company founder, Jonathan Carp, MD, discovered konjac when visiting a friend in Japan in 2006. Impressed by the healthy yet tasty noodles at the Buddhist restaurant on the fringes of Kyoto, he decided to launch a line of healthy eating products in the USA using the same “miracle” ingredients. The delicious, guilt-free, zero-calorie, zero-carb results have given Miracle Noodle the popularity it enjoys to this day.
